VANESSA WATTS, Ph.D.

Dr. Vanessa Watts (she/her/hers) joined Pediatric Care of Ogden in 2018. Dr. Vanessa is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in pediatric mental health. She graduated from San Diego University with her Masters in Experimental Psychology in 2011. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Miami University, Ohio in 2016. She completed her internship at the University of Tennessee Professional Psychology Internship Consortium and her postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Primary Children’s Hospital. Dr. Vanessa enjoys working with children, adolescents, and their families while they navigate difficulties related to big feelings, behavioral difficulties, life transitions, and the intersection of mental and physical health. She utilizes evidence-based therapeutic strategies consistent with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral management, and solution focused therapy. Within these frameworks, Dr. Vanessa emphasizes a collaborative approach with the goal of empowering individual and families to create positive growth and change in their lives. In her free time, Dr. Vanessa enjoys adventuring with her partner, two sons, and family dog. 

Vanessa's waitlist is currently 6 months long. Please contact your doctor if you would like to get your child on her waitlist. She only sees clients who are established patients at Pediatric Care of Ogden.

Therapy sessions are available every Tuesday.
