SERVICES
IMMUNIZATIONS
At Pediatric Care of Ogden, we adhere to the current immunization schedule as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We strongly believe that this is the best way to protect your child from vaccine-preventable diseases. If you have questions about your child’s vaccines, we are happy to discuss those concerns at your well child check or with an office visit.
HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?
WE'RE HAPPY TO HELP!
ROUTINE PHSYCIALS
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends well child examinations throughout infancy, childhood, and adolescence. These visits are a great opportunity to touch base with your pediatrician on your child’s growth pattern, developmental milestones, any parenting concerns you have, and to update your child on routine vaccines. We also perform preventative care, which means we screen for certain conditions that may not be affecting your child now but could put them at risk for poor health outcomes in the future. We ask that you please inform us of any additional concerns you would like to discuss at the time of scheduling so that we can ensure our physicians have the time needed to address all of your concerns.
AFTER HOURS CARE
Our office is always available to answer your questions, even when the lights are off! We understand that questions come up outside of office hours. We provide a nurse triage line on nights and weekends to answer your concerns or provide advice for how to best care for your child. You can reach our nurse triage line by dialing our office number, 801-621-1701, outside of our regular office hours.
NEWBORNS
We love caring for the smallest members of your family! We see newborns at McKay-Dee Hospital and Ogden Regional Medical Center. We will typically visit new patients within 24 hours of their birth. We are also happy to meet you prior to the birth of a new child so that parents can feel comfortable with their physician and ask any questions prior to the arrival of their baby. Please call us at 801-621-1701 to schedule a meet and greet if you are interested in this service.
